Can Peace Be Achieved From the Coup Leader? – Issue 52

The coup leader invited the Ethnic Revolutionary Organizations (EROs) to hold peace talks on April 22th. His invitation may be the last resort for out-of-control situations. In the wake of the military coup, the delegation of the military council explained the reason for the military coup by making approaches to the Ethnic Revolutionary Organizations (EROs) in northern Shan State, including the United Wa State Party/United Wa State Army (UWSP/UWSA).

ဧပြီ ၂၂ ရက်နေ့၊ အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်ခေါင်းဆောင်၏ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးဖိတ်ခေါ် ကမ်းလှမ်းချက်သည် ၎င်းတို့အတွက် ဆောက်တည်ရာမရသည့် အခြေအနေများအတွက် နောက်ဆုံးထွက်သက်တစ်ခုလည်း ဖြစ်နေနိုင်ပါသည်။ စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းပြီးကတည်းက အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်အုပ်စု၏ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် ‘ဝ’ ပြည်သွေးစည်းညီညွတ်ရေးပါတီ (UWSP/UWSA) အပါအဝင် မြောက်ပိုင်းဒေသရှိ တိုင်းရင်းသားလက်နက်ကိုင် တော်လှန်ရေးအဖွဲ့များအား ချဉ်းကပ်ကာ ၎င်းတို့၏ အာဏာသိမ်းမှုဖြစ်စဉ်အကြောင်းကို အယုံသွင်းကာ ရှင်းပြစည်းရုံးခဲ့သည်ကို တွေ့ရသည်။ အာဏာမသိမ်းခင် ၂၀၂၀ ပြည့်နှစ် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲပြီးချိန်မှစပြီး တိုက်ပွဲများပြင်းထန်နေသည့် ရခိုင်ဒေသရှိ ရက္ခိုင့်တပ်တော် (ULA/AA) နှင့်လည်း နှစ်ဖက်အပစ်ရပ်ထားခဲ့သည်။ အပစ်ရပ် တိုင်းရင်းသားလက်နက်ကိုင် တော်လှန်ရေးအဖွဲ့ (၁၀) ဖွဲ့ကိုလည်း NCA အတိုင်း ဆက်လက်သွားနိုင်ရေးအတွက် အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်အုပ်စုက ချဉ်းကပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
